Privacy
Plain language, written for the site as it is today.
1. What we collect
This website currently has no accounts, forms, or ads, and does not ask children for personal details. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and offer optional Google Analytics only if a grown-up allows it, as explained below. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any information you include. Children should ask a parent or guardian to contact us.
Lesson progress: stickers earned, best scores, and when lessons were played are stored only in this browser on this device. ZoraMath does not receive these progress records or children's lesson answers. Press "Clear stickers" in a lesson or clear this site's data in your browser to erase them. Analytics may measure visits and general page interactions, but our Google tag does not read or send lesson progress, scores, or answers. Lessons read fixed prompts using your browser's speech voices; some browsers may use an online voice service for this.
2. Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate visits and page performance, including load and interaction timing. Its script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and sends metrics to our Cloudflare endpoint. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or track individuals across websites.
Google Analytics 4 is optional. It is not loaded until someone selects Allow analytics in the notice for grown-ups. Once allowed, Google may use first-party analytics cookies and collect page visits, approximate browser/device information, and interactions such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, site searches, forms, embedded video engagement, and file downloads. Those measurements can include page URLs and link destinations. We strip query strings and fragments from the page URL and referrer provided in the Google tag configuration. The tag does not send lesson answers, scores, stickers, names, or email addresses as custom events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
You may select No thanks to keep the Google tag off, or reopen Analytics settings in the footer at any time to change your choice. This preference is stored in this browser's local storage. Browsers signaling Global Privacy Control do not load the Google tag. Google explains its data practices in its Privacy Policy. We do not use Google Analytics for ads, remarketing, or behavioral advertising.
3. Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the IP address of a device that requests a page in order to deliver it. ZoraMath does not access, export, or keep visitor logs. Emails sent to info@zoramath.com are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to a Google Gmail mailbox. Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
4. Retention
We do not maintain website account records or raw visitor logs. Cloudflare and, only when allowed, Google retain analytics data according to their respective services and settings. An analytics choice is stored locally in your browser until changed or cleared; the Google tag may set analytics cookies after opt-in. We may retain emails for as long as needed to answer correspondence; our mailbox provider stores those messages. You may email us to request deletion of your correspondence.
5. Contact
Write to info@zoramath.com. Residents of British Columbia, Canada may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia: https://www.oipc.bc.ca/
6. Changes
We will update this notice before introducing accounts, new forms, other analytics providers, or new child-data features. Any future collection involving children will be reviewed for applicable parental notice and consent requirements.
